Automation for Poultry Farming
In modern poultry farming it is essential to gather and record the correct information items to optimise production. This allows negative influences to be recognised quickly, analysed and avoided, contributing to improved production.
Climate Control
Our climate computers control for you, based on all possible set ventilation curves, the barn temperature and the barn ventilation level. They control every imaginable ventilation system: ranging from natural to mechanical ventilation, from basic and ridge ventilation to tunnel ventilation and combinations thereof.
Our computers register, based on your selection, the temperature and relative humidity inside or outside of the barn, the CO2 level, the wind speed and direction. Based on these data, your animals have always a perfect climate.

Feed Control
Our computers are extremely suitable for the implementation of your feed strategy and offer you the prospect of reduced feed costs, healthier animals and therefore better results. Feed records give you a daily insight into feed consumption and therefore feed costs and enable you to identify any deviations in daily feed consumption, which could be an indication of the health of your animals.
Drinking water is just as important to your animals as feed. Our computers keep a flawless record of the water consumption and will warn you in the event of any anomalies.
Feeding Type :
- Feeding ching
- Feeding Pans
- Feeding Per Circuit
- Feeding Hoppers
- Feeding Carts
Bird Weighing
Bird weighing gives an up-to-date insight into the weight of the birds. This is very important in times of limited feeding or when following a particular feeding schedule.
The principle of our animal weighing is based on a differential weighing detected by the scales. This enables our system to accurately determine the average weight of the birds.
You can also enter a target weight. For animals that grow during the round, this target weight can also be entered into a graph so that the weight is automatically adapted every day.
Bird Weighing Types :
- DWS-3 : bird weighting scale for turkeys
- DWS-4 : bird weighting scale for broilers and layers
- DWS-5 : bird weighting perch for layers in cages
- DWS-6 :bird weighting scale for broilers and layers
Egg Counting
Hotraco Agri develops and produces various types of egg counters based on the desired counting accuracy, the housing method and the set-up of the poultry house.
Insight into egg production is essential to measuring the performance of your livestock
The EMEC egg counter keeps track of the number of eggs on each conveyor with meticulous precision, without any need for the eggs to be transported in single rows or in a specific direction. Under normal circumstances the EMEC egg counter demonstrates a precision of 99.8% or higher.
Egg Counting Types :
- EMEC-12 : Scan width 120 mm
- EMEC-12-20 : Scan width 200 mm
- EMEC-12-30/40/50 :Scan width 300mm till 500 mm
- EMEC-30-75 :Scan width 300 mm till 750 mm
Management and communication
Our systems gather a wealth of information for you on conditions in the animal house, on the well-being of the animals and their production. Information is provided on the minimum and maximum temperature, the number of animals present, mortality, the water and feed consumption and feed conversion. When using animal scales, you will receive data on the average weight and the uniformity and spread of weights between the animals in the flock or herd.
If you link the housing computer to the Rainbow+ management program you can create tables and graphs that will enable you to analyse the technical results more effectively and quickly and manage and control your housing and the production process even more effectively.
With Remote+ it is possible to operate the housing computers remotely. This can be done quite simply because the keys and screens are exactly the same as those on a computer.
