An immense and terrifying pile of isometric shapes appear on the horizon. Huge, trippy things. Now, I see that there’s a weird slanted sun out behind them, but it’s hard to say. What I do know is that I’m two hundred feet in the air and I’m about to burst, but with these thick shapes floating towards me, I cannot bring myself to jump. Instead, I watch their silhouettes rush towards me. They drift into the sky, almost graceful, and then they are below me. Now I see a whole constellation of them, and I can no longer make out their shapes. The long, wispy tentacles of what appears to be a squid, or no, no, make that a giant octopus, extend from the surface of this multi-layered city, and they are clenching and rearing into the sky. I try to dive, but I can’t help it. I’m a nervous flyer. I have been since I was a kid, and a huge, huge waterfall is moving in the sky. I can see it above me, all the time. I’m so close, it feels like I could touch it, but I can’t look up. I can’t do anything but stare at the sky and try to navigate with my feet. I don’t want to panic. I just want to look at the waterfall. I want to look at the awesome, beautiful thing that is coming down to kill me and eat me. I hold my arms in front of me, as if to hug the thing down.
