The app supports three primary types of brushes: Standard (T), Sketch (S), and Oil Paint (O). If you already use Adobe’s Photoshop, you’re used to the notion of brushes. In Photoshop, all brushes are created by the artist, and subsequently digitized automatically.
With that in mind, to prepare for this review, I went into Photoshop and set the user interface to the Sketch brush type. I then created a simple image and, as always, I began sketching on the iPhone screen using the Apple Pencil.
The program not only allows you to edit, manipulate and organize your photographs, but it allows you to share them. Photoshop has tools such that allow you to retouch old photos or to use special effects to your creativeness. It’s incredibly easy to manipulate layers, change the size of your graphic, and use bold and italic effects on text. The most popular tool used in Photoshop is the Foreground and Background tools. When you select a tool by pressing F on your keyboard, it will show up in the active tools. This is the standard practice of most software programs, but with Adobe Photoshop you can insert your tools directly within a layer by pressing the Insert key. This lets you quickly create both gradients and photo textures. To add a gradient to your layer, first you need to click the Select toolbox and then press the G key on your keyboard to select Gradient Fill. You can then choose which gradient you would like to add by clicking on it and then choosing your layer below. The best part about these tools is that you can select from endless combination of gradients to add to your pages. To add photo textures, simply press the Insert key to insert a picture and then apply a filter to change the way your photo looks.

Finally, a few words on the upgrade service. I don’t really find it very effective and rarely have I paid a single cent for it. While you are still bound by your contract, one could consider how much “money” they’re really paying for the service. After paying yearly subscription of $100 to $150 bucks for the service, you only pay $3 to $6 bucks for the upgrade. That’s it! So just be careful and don’t overpay for it.
It is very much unreasonable to limit the features if we would like to know all the features of the software, or we limit the upgrades for personal reasons or reason other than the upgrades. Completing an issue of not upgrating the subscription, it may no longer allow the updates to the software. There are some reasons to prolong the usage for the subscription, and so many legitimate reasons to stop the subscription including the pricing – some users don’t want to upgrade their subscription because of the cost as long as a subscription is still valid.
