I used the update to both Lightroom 5 and Lightroom 6, and I must say the version for 2017 is quite useful. It has a little more accessory than I’m used to, but then again I prefer having it as an standalone package.
The fact that the name has a number attached, however, suggests to me that I should consider whether the ‘light’ adsome people feel is beneficial. The update is not as heavy-weight as its older counterparts, which is great, but at the same time, the touchscreen keyboard is a little sparse and needs more options.
Now, when you are working on a design project, one thing you need to keep in mind is that even though you are working on your own, they can work on outside companies as well, and sometimes getting creative with what they have in stock is what will benefit us. We are able to give credit to the designers who put their time and dedication into the work that we do. For instance, although we do not usually post the job applications, because they are private and some cases confidential, we still give credit to the designers who have done the work. Anyway, at the very least you will always get the credit for your design work. Some clients however have a hard time with this.
