The previous version of this hardware could be confusing in terms of what new features were added and issues they were designed to resolve. Photoshop CC and AC are generally free or priced as desired, but a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud usually includes access to the software on up to six computers. The way I import files is to go to the Photo Album folder (apparently the same place you go to edit the files), click the button next to the word \”Import,\” and then choose which type of files to import. I import Photoshop files in this case, although there are other formats which work with this import feature. They are the same in Photoshop Elements 2, and they still work in Photoshop Elements 2020. The default folder is set to the one in your Documents, here named by default ‘Photoshop Review’. One important point to remember is that you need to select the ‘Photoshop files’ option to view Photoshop EPS files in the Photoshop Elements editor. In addition to the usual JPEG, TIFF, PSD and GIF formats, you can also import EPS, PDF and PS Sequences. Adobe has also updated their Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop templates to include EPS export. You might want to google how to use these templates, which are used when you convert your images to other formats, as they are very user-friendly.

In addition to layers, you’ll also have a history of your work and the steps along the way in the history panel. Here you can go back and revisit any change you made, making adjustments across Photoshop projects without interrupting the flow of your work. Layers let you keep track of the results of your retouching as you apply all your edits together. The history panel provides a visual trail of all the work you’ve done.

Another key addition in Photoshop CC is the brush tool. When working on your image, you usually start with just one brush—a fast and intuitive way to change the appearance of your image. You can then fine-tune that effect with new brushes.
