The biggest issue for me is the fact that it’s a complete desktop app. I use my Ouya for most things on a regular basis. I might play a few online games or edit photos or whatever….but when it comes to actually creating graphic works for clients, I’m all in with the desktop.

Anyway, let’s get to the photo processing. The new RAW conversion feature is smart enough to maintain the exact workflow as you would have in the camera. It “does the number crunching” rather than forcing you to make adjustments manually in Lightroom. It allows you to make adjustments using the same tools you would use if you were shooting with the camera’s RAW modes. The results are rather impressive. However, I still find the interface a bit primitive and not as intuitive as it could be. You can see them in the slides at the beginning of this review. The brightness slider in the Develop module is way too big. Adjusting the curve doesn’t seem to work as well as you would expect. The name is rather odd, too – it’s called “Adjusting White Balance”.
