AutoCAD
History
In 1972, computer graphics pioneer John Warnock began writing the first version of an AutoCAD application. In 1973, Warnock wrote a script in the computer language Pascal to draw cross-sections of cylindrical shapes. This was distributed on disk as a batch file. When the batch script was run, it would create a series of box-and-line drawings. Warnock later wrote a key program that generated the settings for the CAD program, and another program that generated the actual work drawing. The cross-section program would then be run on each newly created drawing.
In 1974, AutoCAD was developed by Warnock and AutoDesk, Inc., and first released for sale in December of that year. The program was designed to run on the then-new desktop microcomputers of the day, which included the IBM PC XT, Apple II and Commodore PET.
AutoCAD Version 1.0
In 1974, AutoCAD was developed by Warnock and AutoDesk, Inc., and first released for sale in December of that year. The program was designed to run on the then-new desktop microcomputers of the day, which included the IBM PC XT, Apple II and Commodore PET. This early version of AutoCAD was limited to three-dimensional drawing; it could create only three-dimensional drawings and cross-sections of cylinder shapes. It was written in the assembly language of the IBM PC XT. Because of memory limitations of the time, it could not store two-dimensional drawings.
AutoCAD Version 2.0
In 1975, the new version of AutoCAD was introduced. This software ran on IBM PCs and the Apple II computer, and could create both 2-D and 3-D drawings. The final release of the 2.0 version was a major upgrade. The price of the program was raised from $795 to $995, and other new features were introduced.
AutoCAD Version 2.5
AutoCAD 2.5 (code named “Omega”) was the first major version of AutoCAD that was released for commercial sale. It was a completely new version of AutoCAD with a different user interface. A 2.5 system required two floppy disks, a PC-DOS operating system diskette, and a hard disk. For the first time, a company supported and marketed a specific AutoCAD product line. This was the start of a product marketing department, and

Book
AutoCAD 2010 provides a new Book object, which allows embedding a second document within a drawing, as well as the ability to manage a book within a drawing. Drawing objects can be included within the drawings within a book, allowing the book to be closed without losing the ability to edit or view the objects within the drawing, as well as the ability to work on one drawing while viewing another.
The book object, which allows workbooks to be placed within a drawing or an assembly, is a new drawing-object type introduced with AutoCAD 2010. This means that the book is a layer, not a drawing as had been the case previously. It also means that book objects can be nested within each other. Drawing objects that are placed within a book become editable and can be printed from within the drawing, whereas all other drawing objects are hidden and only appear in the background view of the drawing. It is also possible to print parts of drawings with a book object. This allows multiple parts to be printed at one time.
XML
AutoCAD supports XML in version 2009 and 2012. AutoCAD XML allows to write objects in specific class and to create xml from objects.
AutoCAD XML provides a serialization mechanism for AutoLISP objects. Since AutoCAD supports only those objects which are serializable in both AutoLISP and XML, object serialization was always a function of AutoLISP serialization. Thus, when AutoLISP was used to generate an XML document, the XML document did not contain the AutoLISP objects. In AutoCAD 2012, XML is a separate file format and the import/export functions for AutoLISP generated objects do not produce XML files.

What is the most economical way to reduce all of my accounts to 1,000 GTC?
I have many brokerage accounts that have all been converted to GTC, and I’d like to reduce them all to 1,000 GTC. I know that I can convert my accounts back to stocks, but I’d like to know if there is a more economical way.
A:
The best way to do this would be to go back to traditional margin accounts. There is no way you can go from stocks to GTCs without paying quite a bit of money.
If you are interested in converting the GTCs to stocks I would start with this question.
A:
Two ways I know of.
Sell your bonds. Not only will you earn much more interest than you can on GTCs (depending on your risk tolerance), but it will allow you to re-establish margin accounts with traditional stocks.
Open a margin account with a dealer (i.e., your brokerage) that deals in stocks and bonds. Margin accounts allow you to buy securities (stocks or bonds) with cash and pay for them with securities of equal value. Basically, you can borrow the cash required to purchase the stock and then pay it back by the time you sell the stock.
I just posted this on the site, and I’m not sure how long it will be around.
