You are now able to use SMS (Short Message Service) messages on your computer without having to be connected to the internet.
All you have to do is simply download the required software onto your computer (windows XP) and then you are ready to go.
Before you start using this software you will have to register the SMS/MMS message client service with your mobile network, so if you are already registered to any mobile network and have not reset your password for the service please do so.
Install your own SMS/MMS message service
After downloading the software you will find a message interface on your desktop.
Click the “Add New SMSC” button to add your own SMSC service as shown below, and then click “Ok”.
Click the “OK” button to proceed to the next page, you will need to provide your own username and password in order for the software to send and receive messages.
To add a username and password click the “SMS/MMS Account Settings” button.
You will have to enter your username and password in the “Register a New Account” fields.
You can create new passwords and change the password for the newly created account on this page.
You need to download the latest version of the Sun Java plugin by downloading the Sun Java IcedTea Plugin 7.0.4 package
