I just received the Lightroom 5.2 release candidate and have taken the time to try out most of the new features. There are many, and they are all good additions. But one in particular has piqued my interest. The “Keyword Record” feature will take some getting used to, but I think it has a lot of potential for what is essentially a self-service feature. New and old users alike should enjoy this one.
As a word of warning, the above 20 minute video demonstrates the Lightroom 5.2 RC. If you are new to Lightroom, you will find the Ribbon much simpler than in previous versions. My other concern is that this release may not be stable for those on Windows 8. I’m hoping this will be addressed in the final version.
