You can zoom into the canvas, for example, and change the image’s resolution to 72 ppi from 300 ppi. (PPI stands for pixel per inch, and Photoshop Elements’ higher resolution for images is the result of its superb image capture and pixel-processing engine.) If your images are about the size of a full-size sheet of paper, the automatic adjustments will produce pleasing results, and you’ll have the ability to correct things at will. Mac users now have a more native experience when editing and getting creative with a new interface for Adobe Photoshop. We’ll start with the more cross-browsing friendly features, and try and highlight where there is a native implementation or when we have had to rely on a secondary platform.
