Especially when I switch between my main capture tool (a smartphone) and Photoshop, using the goal iCapture App, it’s a big boon to be able to open up the artwork in Photoshop and start working in the typical way without having to fire up Lightroom first.
The Fill and Stroke tool is one of the most important tools in your color tool box. It allows you to use simple swatches to paint out areas, merge elements, or completely change the look of a particular layer.
What It Does: For sculpting and prototyping, the Layers tool lets you organize objects into separate layers, allowing you to erase, add, blend, and adjust every object without affecting the parts of it that you don’t want to change. To make it easy, you can also organize and name your layers when you create them. Then, when you have an idea for how an object should look, you simply drag it to a layer, duplicate that layer within the composite, arrange the layers in any order you require, and start editing.
The Spacing, Distortion, and Perspective tools help you align, distort, and warp the layout of various objects. You can even make a new layer within a template and then adjust its location within the template the way you want it to be, giving you ultimate control over how your artwork comes together.
What It Does: In addition to allowing you to warp, perspective-correct, and align with ease, the Paths tool allows you to trace out complex geometric shapes, such as lines, ellipses, circles, rectangles, squares, and polygons, and then use the paths to manipulate and transform your artwork in Photoshop.
The Blend tool, shown to the right, is a powerful way to create fully blended colors from two or more colors of different values. It basically blends colors together to create a color that’s percentage of the colors it is composed of.

This new feature makes finding features and other tools in the application’s interface much easier.
