It is an amazing release. Very smooth and readable. I have been editing photos with LR for over a year. Final Cut Pro 7 and Photoshop used to be a very close competition in terms of performance. With this new release, Photoshop is a whole new benchmark in performance.
Adobe has been paying attention to what the user wanted on Photoshop and this release is a total upgrade to the Creative Cloud version. This is not a version update, but a complete re-write of the app. It is amazing how fast it is and how responsive it is to my UI even when doing a touch editing of a photo. Sometimes in the past, Adobe has moved so fast that its users miss the upgrades. This time, they didn’t.
Photoshop CC is just as amazing as the earlier versions. The speed of the new app is amazing and very responsive. The interface is so simple it’s taking some getting used to but I think I’m really enjoying it. I have not really used any of the new features much yet because I’m so eager to get back to designing. I love the new grid layout and the ability to enter and submit comments.
I have been a long time photoshop user. I have even taught it to some students but never came across Adobe CC until now. All I can say is Wow!!!! This is a great upgrade to use for anyone.
