—————————————————— RE:P is a fantasy action/adventure game for the PC and accessible through Steam. RE:P combines survival gameplay and RPG elements into a survival/adventure game that focuses on exploration, interaction and an immersive setting. RE:P is immersive to the point of users experience being constantly immersed in a dark cyberpunk game. The game puts many of the classic vampire adventure games such as the Masquerade games to shame, as well as innovating new approaches to being a vampire RPG, such as using a host of new features. Modifications to the game as planned so far include: – Multiple different stories, choices and more – Combat system – Improved combat system – Staying powers – Being able to grant and take powers – New environment – City exploration – New dialogue system – New narrative features – New magic system – New spells system – Character building – More features, but these are not enough This is a very ambitious project and we are seeking to fund the development through crowdfunding. Our project budget is $800,000 and we are seeking to raise $35,000. We believe that RE:P is so much more than just a game. It is a chance to have a title that will really explore the vampire identity and create a really rich setting. As we are going to be focusing on storytelling, there will be a lot of hand-holding, which will make for a totally different RE:P experience than similar offerings. Most of our sources of revenue will come from crowd-funding. Development of RE:P will take about five years. RE:P is being developed by a small team of people, who are starting their adventure in the United States and hope to move overseas in the near future. And after all, ‘replication’ is the name of the game. Humans living on ‘The Land’ are you and I. There are no artificially engineered humans in existence right now. All that stuff about separate species developed by human colonisation of ‘The Land’ and their insertion into the entire bloodline are mythical tricksters. All of that is simply that: trickery. It’s a con. Any ‘species’ you may encounter on ‘The Land’ is of a species created by the EULs — perhaps the Neanderthals — and seeded onto ‘The Land’ for quick cash. Here’s the science bit: about eight or nine billion years ago, the matter and energy of the universe created The Land and the beings that live on The Land — a process called Biogenesis — and one might note that this also involved gravitation which is quite energy intensive.
